Do we need macro lenses in a smartphone?

So macro lenses are being invited in smartphones a lot. You can't find a single mid range smartphone without a macro lenses. Some people like macro lenses, but most of the people don't like it because of its lower resolution. 

So basically macro lenses are inputed in a smartphone are all 2mp or 5mp. And the sensors are not good at all. You can take a macro shot and also take a main cam shot and crop it and it will be better than the macro shot.

We need some improvements in macro cams. All the companies input macro cam in a smartphone for raise the camera number on a phone. So if a see a quad camera setup in a smartphone, 2 of them are depth and macro and they both are useless.

So basically the macro cams now included in smartphones, we don't need them. But if the companies improve these cams, it will be always fun to use an extra cam that works well
